As someone who is looking to make money on the net you are going to need an audience.

After all you might have the greatest product out there but if no one is looking in your shop window then you will get no sales.

I have found twitter one of the fastest ways to connect and network on the net so far. It is a little addictive but it is a lot of fun and you can get people to have a look at what you are doing on your site  If you are careful about what you do.

If you are going to use twitter you will be bombarded with Robots sending you messages to join this program and you will get 1000′s of followers in 30 days, don’t bother. There are more effective, cheaper and much more rewarding ways to get followers.

I do recommend however that you do use a tool that will help you manage a lot of tasks.

Could you give something away for free? I think most people can, especially if it is something extremely good.

Why would I have more than one account? Because I have more than one web business. My property related people don’t really want to hear about my art ramblings or posts and if they do then they will probably have followed me on my art account.

My main account tells people about my various web businesses so they may already have recognised my work on another account anyway.
